1. The service

ShelfWatch provides a written briefing service that summarises publicly available product-recall notices published by regulators (currently the US Consumer Product Safety Commission; additional regulators are added only once their feed is live) and indicates which notices may relate to product categories you have specified.

2. Not legal advice

The service is informational. It is not legal advice, and it does not create a professional advisory relationship. You remain responsible for compliance decisions, product withdrawals, notifications and filings.

3. Accuracy and availability

We work from official public feeds and link each item to the regulator's notice. Regulators occasionally publish, amend or withdraw notices, and feeds can be delayed or unavailable. We do not warrant completeness, timeliness or accuracy of third-party data. Where a brief is not delivered in a billing period, that period is refunded on request.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in US dollars through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your Stripe receipt; cancellation stops future renewals. Fees already paid for the current period are not refunded except as stated in section 3.

5. Acceptable use

You may not resell, republish or redistribute the briefs, or use the service to build a competing dataset.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost sales or regulatory penalties.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before taking effect.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
